This website was created by five CSUN students for their Women's Studies Women as Agents of Change - WS300 class. It is to show compiled research on Margaret Sanger, an American nurse and original American Birth Control Activist. Sanger revolutionized the conventional way of thinking throughout the 1920's and challenged the beliefs and ideas of American society and all over the world.
We hope you find this site helpful, as we feel this woman embodies what it means to be an "agent of change".

"No woman can call herself free who does not own and control her body. No woman can call herself free until she can choose conscious by whether she will or will not be a mother."--Margaret Sanger
